Italnick
Nick from Italy
I'm on the road earlier, so away from home. My first stop, Bergamo (Lake d'Iseo). Do I remember that I was in the hospital and through an advertisement I got a contact in Bergamo. Well, I'm about 15 years old, I'm on my way there. Unfortunately it wasn't pleasant for me and then I moved to Milan, where I have a cousin who gave me first aid. I had my first job in Biffi (at the cathedral) as a waiter apprentice. Was funny and saw lots of celebrities, Mike Buongiorno, I Ricchi e Poveri, i Dik Dik, Albano & amp; Romina, and many from sports. Unfortunately the director was not so friendly so I moved to Garlasco (Pavia) alle Rotonde, at the time of the meeting many celebrities. Saw Milva, Mina and Patty Pravo, so an experience for me as a young guy.
Then I went home because the social station sent me to a vocational school in Calambrone (Livorno / Pisa). I was only there for a few months, then gone, school wasn't for me! Florence and then Angri again. There was a request to Haarlem (Netherlands). I was supposed to wash plates in a restaurant (Palladium) ... not even for me, but the owner helped me (we had the same surname, maybe we were relatives because we come from the same village). The man helped me to work in a laundry room, which I did and I was employed there for over a year.
I ironed my pants on an ironing press, all day ... how boring! Well, in Wijk an Zee, that's where I lived, I gathered my experiences, also with love ... and that was easy, the hollender women loved me! Then it was time to go back home because without a family wasn't so good for me. That brought a change in my life. After making many mistakes, as always, I managed to meet the woman of my life (at least that's what I thought).
This story lasted about 7 years, then it started my life. I was ready for the island! No more gastronomy, thanks to the employment agency, I went to a school where I learned to be an offset printer. Finally a sensible job! It gives me the basis for the future and I almost worked until I retired. Even then, despite my job, the trend wasn't as stable until I ended up with the trade unions and worked for almost 25 years.
In the long time when I also earned well, vacation was always in the foreground for me. Initially, the Caranian Islands were my regular place, but in between there were no trips to Copenhagen, Stockhoml, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevillia, Basel, Paris, Marselle, Prague, Bucarest, Sofia, and of course many places in Italy, including Roma in particular, Milano, Trento, Genoa, and Napoli surroundings with Ischia, Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello etc. In the middle of the 90s I went to Thailand and there my tribe holidays were relocated. But, in between, Cuba, Mexico with Acapulco, Domemikaniche Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, and Italy was at least once a year.
Thailand, since I also have some friends there (who live in Pattaya) I go 2-3 times a year and that's everywhere, Phuket, Pattaya most of the time, Bangkok (it's a must for me), Chiang Mai, Kohn Kaen, Petchburn , Chantaburi, and many other places.
The Corona has overturned everything, although there are only some places that can be visited with lowering, and I want to wait there. Since December 2019 I've never traveled anywhere ... sad but true! Shit virus !!!
